Another Way to Keep Busy While Social Distancing

May 14, 2020

Welcome to post 3 on Another Way to Keep Busy While Social Distancing. In case you missed them, you can click now to find post 1 and post 2. We are all struggling during this time, but there are plenty of ways to make the time pass faster, and hopefully, these posts can help.

Does Social Distancing have you struggling for money? I know there are so many people who are out of work right now, on unemployment and looking for work to help through this difficult time. While I don’t have the answer, I do have a few tips to help keep you busy while social distancing and make a little extra cash for some toilet paper

My first idea is to start using apps where you can earn cash. No, unfortunately it isn’t a lot, but I use a few sparingly every day. We went to a nice dinner, bought some groceries, and probably some items on Amazon because of the money I made. You can try a variety of sites and apps. I use MyPointsInbox DollarsSwagbucks, and Shopkick every day. I do the bare minimum, so I don’t make much off them, but the more you do the more you can make! The easiest one I use is SlideJoy – it creates an ad on your screen savor that you just swipe by. I literally just use my phone like normal and earn money to do it!

If you aren’t big on those ideas for keeping busy, what about starting your own business?

Okay not ACTUALLY starting it yet, but preparing it for when you are ready. Some of you may have this crazy idea rolling around in your head but haven’t taken the time to try… now is your chance!

Maybe what you are really after is a break from our break. We are all cooped up in our houses right now and starting to go a little crazy. Now is a great chance to PLAN your vacation (not GO on one!). We all know the time and effort it takes to plan a really great trip. Since we are all locked inside anyway, why not plan yours for next year?

Thinking of going to Disney World? Maybe Myrtle Beach?

What better time than now to plan it? Get the family together around the dinner table and decide where you want to go and what you want to do. You can plan out what shows you will see, what activities you will do, where you want to stay.

And don’t forget to invite, I mean tell me! I’d love to hear where you are going and maybe get some new ideas of my own! Email me at blessedmoments13@gmail.com, or if you really need someone to talk to – give me a call  I’d love to chat! 724-689-5199. I look forward to hearing your great ideas.
