Frequently Asked Questions

Anytime from 30 weeks on is perfect. We reserve your spot using your due date, and once baby arrives, you just send us a quick note (after you've told the grandparents, of course!) and we’ll get your session on the calendar.

When should I book?

Absolutely! We always recommend capturing a few portraits of your growing family. These are often your very first photos together, and they’re always our clients’ favorites!


Are family images included?

We like to photograph newborns within the first two weeks of life - when they’re still extra sleepy and flexible! It helps keep them cozy and comfortable during posing.

When does the session take place?

Honestly? Not much. We have everything you need here in the studio. As long as you have a way to feed baby, you’re good. That said, you’re welcome to bring your usual diaper bag essentials and a pacifier, just in case.

What should we bring?

Every image you purchase comes with the matching full resolution digital file.

What about digital images?

We’ll go over everything during your consultation, but the key tips are: feed baby right before you leave, dress them in a zip-up sleeper, and if you’re nursing, try to avoid anything that might make you or baby gassy or overly alert (hi, caffeine!) 24 hours ahead of time.
