Continuing to Stay Busy While Social Distancing

April 30, 2020

Continuing to stay busy while social distancing is rough! In case you missed it, this is my second blog post on social distancing. I know we are all suffering during this time of quarantine, but it is for our best so we must do what we can to cure our boredom.

Do you have a Honey Do List?

You know, that list we all keep of all the home projects that need done. Some tasks are for you, some are for your partner. The list of things that we keep putting off. What better time to do it than now?

You may have quite a bit of free time on your hands now. You are probably working from home. Business may be slow. So now is the time to break out your list of home projects and start crossing them off!

Not in the mood to work today?

Binge watching is another great way to kill time. You need to keep it to a minimum, but some time to rest is a good thing. If you’ve been feeling stressed or like you need a vacation, now is the time to put your feet up on the couch and catch up on your favorite shows! Try NetflixAmazon Prime, or whichever streaming service you prefer. Social distancing is your chance to feel refreshed.

Do you have a pet?

Give them some attention today! We all get too caught up in what we are doing. Take your pup for a walk. Let your cat play with the laser pointer. Give them the belly scratching they’ve been dying for!

If those options aren’t for you, maybe you could try something more up my alley!

Update your photo albums! Change up the frames on your wall. Still have that picture from college on your desk? Update it to a beautiful wedding photo instead. Get your kids involved! Let them pick out the photos they want. Social distancing doesn’t have to be a time of annoyance, it can be fun instead.

I know we are starting to get cabin fever. We are itching to go outside, to do our work, and get back to our old routines. But this will not last forever. So for now, let’s make the most of it. Update your home to look the best it has in a long time. Create new memories with your family. Enjoy time with each other.

And please share! I would love to know how you are spending your time. Share your home projects. Give us all encouragement through this hard time. If we help each other we will get through this easier, and faster! Contact me soon so I can get through this with you! And follow me on Social Media to get these tips even faster

Every session begins with a conversation.

1. The Consultation
Before we take a single photo, we’ll talk about what this time of your life looks like for you, what you want to remember, and what matters most to your family.

2. The Photo Session
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience - it’s designed around you, with every detail thoughtfully planned.

3. The Final Step
Once your images are ready, we’ll meet to choose your favorites and design custom artwork for your home.
