I booked my first session with Amy when I was 5 1/2 months pregnant and I absolutely LOVED my experience. After I had my son I scheduled his newborn photos and she did a wonderful job with him. He was so calm and relaxed that all of his pictures came out amazing. We loved her so much we kept coming back, for his 6 month photos, our Christmas photos and his 1 year old photos! Amy is such a sweet soul that is attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible. She even has snacks for you when you come to your session :). Amy is the best at what she does and I wouldn’t pick anyone else to photograph us.

I truly believe that Amy is the best photographer in Pittsburgh! Whenever you work with her, it feels like you’re working with a really close friend. She goes out of her way to make you feel like a Queen and is one of the most friendly and caring people ever. She also puts her heart and soul into your photo session and photos. I went to Amy for both maternity and newborn photos. During my maternity session, Amy made me feel so incredibly comfortable and really brought the energy. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time! She made me feel like a model and actually made me feel beautiful during a very self conscious time. I also didn’t have to worry about anything because she had a wardrobe of outfits to choose from and helped me to pose. She is very creative and talented and she created an image style for me that I have never seen before. We also had great conversations about life, infertility, and loss. Amy is very understanding, empathetic, genuine, and relatable. Her life experiences, passion, and knowledge make her the photographer she is. As for the newborn pictures, she really blew me away. Her professionalism, approach, and care for our baby was phenomenal! I never realized the art and training that goes into newborn photography. What it showed me is that you don’t want just any random photographer taking your baby’s photos. Amy has actual certifications and special training in the newborn craft. All I can say is, you get what you pay for. As for me, the newborn session was exactly what I needed at the time and was 100 percent worth it. The morning of, Amy texted me to confirm and I told her how exhausted, stressed, and overwhelmed I was. I also had a bad case of the baby blues. She let us come later in the day and when we arrived she had food and coffee for us! She went to the store and picked up chicken fingers for me and even got my favorite creamer! She then fed my baby for me while I ate! It really revitalized me. I don’t know any photographer who cares about you like that! As for our pictures, they’re gorgeous! Everyone I showed said they are the most beautiful professional pics they’ve ever seen and people can see the difference between her photos and others. Yes, the photos are expensive, but Amy was always very upfront about it and was never pushy. She even helped us to stay within our budget and never made us feel uncomfortable about anything. She is truly the best of the best!

We met Amy shortly after bringing our little one home and remembering we wanted to do a newborn photo shoot. She was wonderful to work with and put us at ease for parents with their 1st baby and no idea what it would entail to do a photoshoot. She did not rush us, had great ideas and our pictures turned out so beautiful. We definitely went overboard buying canvases and prints for our home but it was money well spent. We have since done several more photo sessions with Amy and always feel at ease, not rushed and she readily puts up with my ideas lol. We highly recommend Amy for your baby, milestone and holidays pictures.

To say I am picky when it comes to what I expect when getting pictures is an understatement. I was blown away with the pictures that Amy took of our newborn and the ones she got of both of our kids together! We loved working with Amy to click my maternity and newborn sessions. She is an absolute delight to work with and talk to. Never was a dull or boring moment in our sessions. She was always engaging & sharing her thoughts and constantly making us feel comfortable at her lovely studio.
